Teaching Kids the Importance of E-Waste Recycling
By Infinite Recycling – Proudly Serving Manawatū, Palmerston North, Whanganui & Masterton

In today’s tech-filled world, children are surrounded by gadgets—from tablets and consoles to phones and laptops. But what happens when these devices stop working or become outdated? At Infinite Recycling, we believe it’s never too early to teach kids about the importance of e-waste recycling.

E-waste (electronic waste) is one of the fastest-growing waste streams globally. When not disposed of properly, it can release harmful toxins into our environment and contribute to landfill problems. That’s why educating the next generation—right here in Manawatū, Palmerston North, Whanganui, and Masterton—is vital to building a cleaner, more sustainable future.

Here are two engaging, kid-friendly videos to help start the conversation:

At Infinite Recycling, we’re committed to helping families across the lower North Island make environmentally conscious choices. By teaching children in our communities how to recycle electronics responsibly, we’re laying the foundation for a greener future.

Let’s raise a generation that doesn’t just love technology—but also knows how to care for the planet it depends on.
